Free Packaging Dieline

Packaging design gets much easier when you have a solid place to start.
So I created a free editable 150 × 150 × 50 mm square box dieline that designers and brands can use as the foundation for their own packaging concepts.
To show what you can actually do with it, I used the same box format to create Tokyo Club Mango — a fictional fruit brand built around bold typography, warm colour, Japanese-inspired graphics and simple packaging.
And you can download the blank dieline and create your own version.
Start With the Dieline
Before there was a Tokyo Club box, there was simply a flat packaging template.
The dieline gives you the basic structure of the box so you can concentrate on the creative part: typography, colour, illustration, photography and brand graphics.
The free download includes the editable SVG and PDF versions of the 150 × 150 × 50 mm template.
Turn the Template Into a Brand
For Tokyo Club Mango, I treated the box as more than something that holds a product.
The cream base, oversized red typography, mango illustrations and smaller graphic details all work together to give the packaging its own personality.
This is also why I like working with editable packaging templates: the same structure can look completely different depending on the visual identity you put on top of it.
From Flat Artwork to Finished Packaging
Once the artwork is applied to the dieline, you can start seeing how individual panels connect when the package is assembled.

The front, sides and top don't have to behave like separate designs. Graphics can continue around the package, typography can change scale between panels, and smaller details can reward someone for turning the box around.
Build a World Around the Packaging
The box doesn't have to be the end of the project.
For Tokyo Club, I extended the same visual language into labels, printed pieces, campaign graphics and product imagery.
That's one of the things I'm interested in exploring through Deidra Hunter Studio: how one design asset can become the starting point for an entire visual system.
A dieline becomes packaging.
Packaging becomes campaign imagery.
And the identity begins to feel like a world rather than a single graphic.
