Digital Product License & Usage Terms

This Digital Product License & Usage Terms (“License”) applies to digital products and downloadable resources provided by Deidra Hunter Studio unless different terms are provided for a particular product.
By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using a product, you agree to this License.
1. Ownership
All original artwork, illustrations, characters, icons, templates, graphics, designs, and other materials remain the intellectual property of Deidra Hunter Studio.
Purchasing or downloading a product does not transfer copyright or ownership.
You receive only the usage rights expressly granted by the applicable license.
2. Standard Permitted Uses
Unless otherwise stated, you may:
Use purchased assets in personal projects.
Use purchased assets in your own business or brand.
Modify or customize assets for permitted uses.
Use assets in websites, marketing, social media, presentations, advertisements, and other business communications.
Incorporate assets into completed client work where the underlying files are not transferred as reusable standalone assets.
Create finished designs in which the asset forms part of a larger creative composition.
3. Prohibited Uses
Unless expressly authorized, you may not:
Resell or redistribute original asset files.
Share purchased files with another person or business.
Upload assets to marketplaces, stock libraries, resource libraries, shared drives, or file-sharing services.
Offer assets as free downloads.
Include assets in another template, icon pack, illustration pack, resource pack, or competing digital product.
Sublicense the original files.
Claim the original artwork as your own.
Sell or distribute modified files where doing so effectively provides the underlying asset as a reusable resource.
Make files available in a way that allows another person to extract and reuse them as standalone design assets.
4. Client Work
Assets may be incorporated into completed work created for a client where permitted by the applicable license.
The original asset library, editable source files, or downloadable product may not be transferred to a client unless the applicable license expressly permits it.
If a client needs access to the reusable original asset itself, an additional license may be required.
5. Merchandise, Packaging and End Products
Merchandise and product-for-resale rights depend on the specific product license.
A product-specific license may expressly permit use in packaging, merchandise, physical products, or digital end products for sale.
Where such use is permitted, the asset must be incorporated in accordance with the conditions of that product-specific license.
Unless expressly permitted, the standard license does not grant the right to create products whose primary value is the substantially unchanged Deidra Hunter Studio artwork itself.
6. Templates
Templates may be customized for permitted personal or commercial projects.
You may not modify a template and resell, redistribute, sublicense, or give away the editable template itself unless expressly authorized.
7. Logos and Trademarks
Unless expressly authorized, Deidra Hunter Studio assets may not be registered as, or incorporated as the primary exclusive element of, a trademark, service mark, or other exclusive brand identifier.
Because assets may be licensed to multiple customers, exclusivity is not guaranteed.
Purchasing a license does not constitute trademark clearance for names, slogans, logos, or other materials you combine with our assets.
8. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
You may not use Deidra Hunter Studio assets to train, fine-tune, develop, evaluate, or improve an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model.
You may not knowingly upload the original assets to datasets or asset libraries intended for AI or machine-learning training.
9. Users and Sharing
Unless otherwise stated, a purchase grants a license to one individual user.
Files may not be shared with a team, company, agency, organization, contractor, or other user unless the applicable license permits multi-user access or additional licenses have been obtained.
10. Free Resources
Free resources remain protected by copyright.
Their permitted uses are determined by the license accompanying the resource.
Free resources may not be resold, redistributed, repackaged, sublicensed, or uploaded elsewhere for download unless expressly permitted.
11. Responsibility for Your Use
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of an asset, and any finished product incorporating it, complies with applicable laws, regulations, third-party rights, platform requirements, product-labeling requirements, advertising requirements, and other requirements relevant to your project.
A license from Deidra Hunter Studio does not constitute legal, trademark, regulatory, manufacturing, or product-safety approval.
12. No Exclusivity
Unless expressly agreed in writing, all licenses are non-exclusive.
The same or similar assets may be licensed to other customers.
13. Termination
Your license may terminate if you materially violate its terms.
Upon termination for a material violation, you must stop unauthorized use of the affected assets and take reasonable steps required by applicable law to discontinue prohibited distribution.
14. Product-Specific Licenses
Certain products include additional or different licensing rights.
Where a product-specific license conflicts with this general License, the product-specific license controls for that product.
A product-specific license may, for example, permit packaging, merchandise, physical end products, digital end products, or other uses not granted by this standard License.
15. Relationship to Website Terms
Use of Deidra Hunter Studio products is also subject to the applicable Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.
Where there is a conflict concerning permitted use of a particular product, the product-specific license controls first, followed by this License.
